Starting a Group
iOWEYOU is a calculator for sharing expenses. This means that you must have a group to share your expenses with.
If you're in a shared house, your 'group' is your housemates. In a club or society, your group are the members of the club!
Once you've signed up to iOWEYOU, you'll need to start a group so that we know who you're sharing with. Just click 'Start Group' from the Members Area and follow the instructions.
You'll be asked a couple of questions:
- What do you want to call the group?
This is for your reference, just in case you want to have more than one group. It doesn't matter what you call it. Something like 'Our house' will do fine!
- Who are you sharing with?
Just enter everyone's names. You can put their email addresses in if you want. This means they will be invited to sign up to iOWEYOU too.
