What is an Expense?
An expense is something you buy that is for sharing with your group. iOWEYOU works by allowing you to log these expenses, just like you'd write them down.
An example of an 'expense' would be the water bill, or the cost of a takeaway!
Logging an Expense
Just click 'Log Expense' once you've logged in, and enter the details required. You will be asked for a quick description, followed by the cost.
Finally we'll ask who the expense applies to. This is asking who will share the cost with you. A water bill is likely to be shared by all members of your group, whereas a takeaway might only be shared with you and one other person.
Only the members you select will owe you for a share of the expense!
